PSE annual Bull Run slated on January 20

The Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc.’s (PSE) annual running event, the PSE Bull Run, will be held on January 20, 2019, 4:00 a.m., at McKinley West, Taguig City. The PSE Bull Run forms part of the Exchange’s stock market awareness campaign.

“A common aspiration at the start of the year is to be physically fit. While we share the same goal, we also want everyone to think about their financial well-being through investing. The bull run is one way by which we introduce stock market investing to our kababayans,” said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon.

The PSE Bull Run seeks to heighten public awareness on the need to save for the future and to consider various investment products, including investing in companies whose shares are listed and traded in PSE. The information about the investment opportunities is readily available in the PSE website (www.pse.com.ph) and through the PSE-sponsored disclosure system, PSE Electronic Disclosure Generation Technology (EDGE), which has its own mobile application.

As in last year’s event, the 2019 PSE Bull Run will have a special 25K category aside from the 21K, 10K, and 5K categories. The running categories will have an entry fee of P1,500.00, P1,000.00, P900.00, and P800.00 respectively. All registered runners will receive race packets containing a race bib, timing chip, and official singlet. All runners who will cross the finish line will get a  finisher’s shirt, with the 25K finishers receiving a special limited edition finisher’s shirt. The runners for the 21K and 25K categories will also receive a finisher’s medal.

Interested participants may register online through www.runrio.com. On-site registration is also available in the following locations: PSE Tower in BGC, Olympic Village outlets in Glorietta 2, Market! Market!, Trinoma, and Fisher Mall, and in Sportshouse Mall of Asia.
